KUKA Global Leadership Tours Centron to Align on Automation Frontiers
A high-level delegation from KUKA Group traveled to Wuxi last week to examine Centron’s manufacturing base, signaling a strategic alignment between global robotics leadership and specialized assembly technology. The visit focused on the convergence of precision dispensing, potting, and intelligent fastening systems within rapidly evolving automotive production lines.

Led by the Vice President of Midea Group, the KUKA executive team conducted an on-site audit of Centron’s capabilities, specifically targeting their technical roadmaps for precision dispensing and automated screw feeding. Hosting the tour were Centron’s leadership team, including CEO of sister brand Leetx, Jed Wang, and General Manager Ouyang Su. The discussions prioritized how robotic platforms can better integrate with process equipment to meet the rising demands of vehicle electrification and battery manufacturing.
Beyond the factory floor, the two companies exchanged insights on shifts in global manufacturing, contrasting the rapid pace of the Chinese market with changing automation needs in overseas regions. Jed Wang emphasized that open dialogue with industry leaders like KUKA is essential for driving innovation in intelligent assembly. This meeting highlights a growing industry mandate: as production complexity increases, the seamless coordination between industrial robots and core process hardware is now the primary driver of manufacturing efficiency and quality consistency.
