Kreate and Nickolas Asset Management Launch $100M Tiffin Facility

A 542,000-square-foot industrial site in Tiffin, Ohio, is set to transform into a high-tech manufacturing hub as Nickolas Asset Management and Kreate commit $100 million to the project. The facility, located at 458 Second Avenue, aims to integrate advanced robotics and AI to begin production by October 1, 2026.

The massive operation relies on a full stack of automation, featuring 32 ENGEL injection-molding systems paired with FANUC collaborative robots and autonomous material handling vehicles. Central to the plant's efficiency is Krevera’s read-write computer-vision AI, which monitors production in real time. This system identifies process deviations and triggers autonomous corrections, minimizing material waste while accelerating output speed.

Nickolas Reinhart, founder of Kreate, views the integration of skilled labor and high-end technology as the cornerstone of American manufacturing. The choice of Tiffin for this investment was driven by the site's existing infrastructure, including substantial electrical capacity and a rail spur capable of holding 25 railcars. This logistics advantage, combined with on-site tool-and-die maintenance, allows the company to bypass the delays of ground-up construction.

Beyond the hardware, the project serves as a significant economic engine for the region. The facility is expected to generate approximately 120 jobs, ranging from engineering and robotics to specialized skilled trades. With space available for future expansion, the partners have positioned the site to scale alongside rising market demand for their consumer and professional product lines.
