Local Couple Launches Pet Supplies Plus Franchise in Brookhaven
After three decades of sharing their home with a menagerie of animals, JC and Joanie Ryan are turning their passion into a business. The married couple is set to open a new Pet Supplies Plus franchise at 2036 Johnson Ferry Road NE in Brookhaven on September 11, aiming to serve local pet owners.
The store offers a comprehensive range of supplies for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and fish, alongside professional grooming services and self-wash stations. Beyond retail, the Ryans intend to integrate the shop into the community by partnering with local animal shelters and rescue organizations to host adoption events and product drives. The owners emphasize that the store will function as a hub for pet advice, with staff trained in natural and holistic nutrition.
To celebrate the debut, the store will host a weekend event on October 10 and 11, featuring giveaways and discounts, including $5 nail trims and complimentary pet washes. The Brookhaven location will operate daily, providing additional conveniences like one-hour curbside pickup and same-day delivery options for local customers.
