Comcast Technology Solutions Launches AI Workflow Suite for Media
Broadcasters and streaming providers face a transition from theoretical AI experiments to production-ready utility. Ahead of the 2026 IBC Show, Comcast Technology Solutions has unveiled a suite of end-to-end AI workflow applications designed to automate content processing, metadata enrichment, and monetization across its existing media management platforms.

The new tools, built upon the company’s VideoAI platform, aim to replace manual labor with automated processing. Key features include "video verticalization," which uses smart cropping to convert landscape content for social media, and automated localization that employs AI-generated voices for dubbing. By integrating these processors into the Cloud Media Processing engine, operators can trigger capabilities like scene-based metadata generation and "virtual eyes-on-glass" quality control without rebuilding their technical infrastructure.
Bart Spriester, Senior Vice President of Streaming, Broadcast, and Advertising at CTS, noted that the industry is ready to move beyond AI hypotheticals to solve concrete production challenges. The suite is designed to function across the company’s portfolio, including Comcast Media360, Comcast Sports360, and the Cloud Video Platform. These integrated tools provide automated clip generation for sports highlights and natural language-based search, allowing content owners to manage entire libraries with greater efficiency. Commercial availability is scheduled throughout 2026 and 2027.
