Ocius Technology Expands Bluebottle Fleet with Sonar Integration
Australian maritime firm Ocius Technology is upgrading its autonomous Bluebottle fleet with advanced sonar systems. The company partnered with ThayerMayhan and Thales Australia to implement the sensor technology, a move CEO Robert Dane plans to detail during a scheduled appearance on NYSE Live.

The integration aims to bolster the operational capabilities of the Bluebottle fleet, which specializes in persistent maritime surveillance and data collection. By incorporating specialized sonar, Ocius seeks to provide clients with enhanced detection and tracking functions in complex underwater environments.
Beyond this technical shift, the broader market remains volatile as investors monitor geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. Treasury yields have climbed to their highest levels since 2023, while ICE Brent Crude prices hover near $94 per barrel, shaping the pre-market landscape for investors.
