SHOPLINE Integrates Splitit to Expand Global Installment Payments
With over 700,000 merchants across Asia-Pacific, Europe, and North America, the commerce platform SHOPLINE is integrating Splitit’s card-linked installment technology. This partnership allows retailers to offer shoppers a way to pay over time using existing credit card limits without requiring new loan applications or third-party redirects.
The integration embeds Splitit directly into the SHOPLINE ecosystem, enabling merchants to activate installment options through a simple plug-in. By leveraging credit already held by consumers, the tool aims to boost sales conversions and increase average order values, particularly for higher-priced items. This approach avoids the friction of traditional financing, keeping the checkout experience branded entirely by the merchant.
For Splitit, the move scales its distribution strategy by positioning its service as a native capability within a major global SaaS provider. John Beisner, Head of Acceptance Partnerships at Splitit, noted that the collaboration simplifies adoption for merchants who no longer need to manage separate payment integrations. Kimi Gong, General Manager of Payment at SHOPLINE, added that the partnership serves the company’s goal of providing an end-to-end payment solution that supports cross-border growth for brands operating in mature credit markets like the United States.
