EpiVax Updates ISPRI Platform with AI-Driven Immunogenicity Tools

Providence-based EpiVax has unveiled a suite of AI-enhanced tools for its ISPRI platform, aiming to sharpen the prediction of immune responses to biotherapeutics. The update integrates refined tolerance modeling and updated antibody prediction algorithms to help developers identify potential immune liabilities earlier in the drug development lifecycle.

The rollout centers on JanusMatrix 2.1, which utilizes AI to weight human epitope cross-conservation against prevalence data. By refining how the platform interprets immune tolerance, EpiVax provides a more granular view of therapeutic epitopes. This advancement underpins the new JanusMatrix-Adjusted EpiMatrix score, or JAX, which merges tolerance potential directly into traditional risk assessments to offer a biologically-informed density profile of effector epitopes.

Alongside these updates, the company released its ADA 2.2 model. This iteration shifts beyond simple epitope-based measures, incorporating biophysical attributes and specific mode-of-action criteria. Trained on a diverse clinical dataset of monoclonal antibodies, the model shows a tighter correlation between digital predictions and observed clinical outcomes. These enhancements arrive as the FDA increasingly encourages the adoption of human-relevant New Approach Methodologies, positioning the platform as a tool to protect asset value and streamline the transition from development to regulatory submission.
