Rackspace Investors Face Deadline in Securities Fraud Class Action
Investors who incurred financial losses during Rackspace Technology’s mid-2026 fiscal period now have until September 28 to file as lead plaintiffs in a securities fraud lawsuit. The litigation, spearheaded by Glancy Prongay Wolke & Rotter LLP, targets alleged misrepresentations regarding the company’s enterprise AI and cloud business operations.

The complaint centers on statements made between May 7 and July 8, 2026. Plaintiffs allege that Rackspace executives failed to disclose that a strategic pivot toward enterprise AI required diverting capital away from the firm's profitable Private Cloud segment. Furthermore, the suit claims the company obscured the decline in Public Cloud revenue as customers increasingly bypassed resellers to contract directly with major hyperscale providers.
According to the legal filing, these omissions left investors with an inaccurate picture of the firm's fiscal health and its ability to sustain revenue levels. While no class has been certified, the law firm is soliciting participants who held shares during the specified window to join the action. Investors retain the right to select their own counsel or remain absent class members, though the September 28 deadline remains firm for those seeking a leadership role in the case.
