ONT Field Earns Top Honors as 2026 Ballpark of the Year

The stadium, designed by global firm Populous, integrates the identity of the nearby Ontario International Airport directly into the game-day experience. Fans encounter thematic touches throughout the venue, including a center field food hall modeled after a baggage-claim carousel and a left field concourse that mimics an active runway. The latter features a vintage aircraft that illuminates whenever a Tower Buzzers player hits a home run.

Atif Elkadi, CEO of the Ontario International Airport Authority, described the award as a significant milestone for the region. The project represents a collaborative effort between the City of Ontario, Diamond Baseball Holdings, and the team to create a specialized professional baseball environment. Tower Buzzers General Manager Allan Benevides noted that the venue’s success relies on the intentionality of its storytelling, which has established a distinct identity for the team within the Inland Empire.
