Seoul Royal Palaces Open Ticket Sales for Fall 2026 Cultural Festival
Seoul’s historic royal palaces and Jongmyo Shrine are set to host the K-Royal Culture Festival from October 7 to 11, 2026. With the spring edition drawing a record 725,000 visitors, organizers are now releasing tickets for an expanded autumn program that includes night tours, immersive performances, and specialized workshops.
The five-day festival will span Gyeongbokgung, Changdeokgung, Deoksugung, and Changgyeonggung palaces, alongside the Jongmyo Shrine. To accommodate rising international interest, the Korea Heritage Service has introduced dedicated visitor sessions, including English-language guided tours for the popular 'Awakening the Morning Palace' program and reserved seating for the festival’s opening performance at Gyeongbokgung’s Heungnyemun Square.
New additions to the lineup include the 'Gyujanggak Chogye Munsin Workshop' at Changdeokgung Palace, which offers interactive history lectures, and the craft exhibition 'Tracing Joseon Space: The Rhythm of Stillness' directed by Baek Jong-hwan. General ticket sales begin at noon on September 4 via Ticketlink, with specific allocations for international travelers available through the platform Creatrip. Partner programs, such as the 'Moonlight Lotus Show' at Changgyeonggung, will follow with a separate booking window starting September 11.
