Huawei Debuts Wearables and Tablets at Munich Launch Event
At the SHOWPALAST in Munich, Huawei unveiled a sweeping portfolio of flagship devices, ranging from medical-grade smartwatches to ultra-thin tablets. The September 2 event, branded as "Chase the Wild," signals a strategic push to integrate AI-driven health monitoring and creative productivity tools into the daily routines of global consumers.

The hardware rollout is anchored by the HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Series, which targets outdoor enthusiasts with titanium alloy builds and specialized sports tracking. The devices introduce wrist-based turn detection and G-Force monitoring, alongside mapping for over 3,000 ski resorts. Complementing these is the HUAWEI WATCH D3, which has secured European CE-MDR medical certification for wrist-based blood pressure management, including pre- and post-exercise tracking.
Beyond wearables, the company expanded its productivity lineup with the 12-inch HUAWEI MatePad Pro. Measuring 4.7 mm thin and weighing 454 grams, the tablet utilizes an OLED PaperMatte display and AI-powered handwriting enhancement. The event also marked the return of the HUAWEI WATCH 6 Series to the European market, alongside the launch of the nova 16s smartphone and FreeBuds Neo audio series. To foster engagement, Huawei launched its "GoPaint" 2026 activity, adding an "Easy Creation" category to support digital artistic expression.
