Anker adds an OLED screen to its latest sleep-focused earbuds
Anker is expanding its sleep-focused audio lineup with the Soundcore Sleep Earbuds 4 and 4 Pro, featuring a smaller profile for side sleepers and upgraded Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. The Pro model stands out by integrating an OLED display directly into its charging case, allowing users to manage audio and sleep settings without a phone.

The new hardware builds on the audio-masking technology seen in the previous A30 generation, designed specifically to dampen environmental noise like snoring. By reducing the contact area by 20 percent, Anker aims to resolve common pressure points that often make earbuds uncomfortable for those sleeping on their sides. The Pro version takes a distinct approach to interface design, featuring a screen that enables users to cycle through soundscapes, monitor sleep data, and set alarms independently of a mobile device.
Battery performance remains a core focus of this release. When streaming content, users can expect up to 8 hours of playback with active noise cancellation enabled, or 11 hours with it disabled. If opting for local soundscape playback, those figures increase to 9.5 and 14.5 hours respectively. Both the standard and Pro charging cases now support wireless charging pads, offering a more streamlined experience for nightly routines.
