Daqo Scales Industrial Power Infrastructure for Middle East and Africa
At Middle East Energy 2026, Daqo presented a strategy to unify electrical infrastructure delivery across the region. By integrating manufacturing scale with modular design, the company aims to streamline complex deployments ranging from desert-hardened solar installations to mission-critical data center power systems in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and beyond.
The company’s approach centers on a consolidated engineering platform that manages everything from medium-voltage switchgear and transformers to low-voltage busways and E-Houses. By centralizing these components under a single manufacturing umbrella, Daqo seeks to eliminate supplier fragmentation, simplifying interface management for operators in the oil, gas, and petrochemical sectors.
Project requirements vary significantly across the region, necessitating sector-specific configurations. For renewable energy, the company provides factory-prepared, weather-resistant solutions for grid connection. Data center clients receive modular systems designed for off-site testing, while industrial projects utilize E-Houses to minimize on-site coordination. This production model is supported by 32 manufacturing companies and four research institutes, underpinned by over 2,300 patents.
Through its regional entity, Daqo Electric MEA FZCO, the firm is currently active in projects across Jordan, Oman, and various African markets. These operations leverage an integrated supply chain to maintain delivery schedules for critical infrastructure, including mining and public power utilities, adapting global manufacturing standards to the specific technical demands of local environments.
