Old World Christmas Expands Home Fragrance Line for National Candle Month
After four decades of defining holiday decor with hand-blown glass, Spokane-based Old World Christmas is shifting its focus to atmosphere. To mark National Candle Month this September, the brand is debuting six seasonal fragrances and a new votive collection, accompanied by a series of month-long promotional events.

The company, which has built its reputation on ornaments designed to be passed down through generations, is applying that same philosophy to its candle line. Each product is hand-poured using a soy wax blend and housed in colored glass intended for reuse. The 8-ounce candles, which feature lead-free cotton wicks, are designed for a 60-hour burn time and are formulated to be vegan, cruelty-free, and free of parabens or phthalates.
New scents launching this month include First Flurry, Homemade Gingerbread, Pineapple Colada, Sugared Berry, Caramel Pecan Pie, and Marshmallow Cocoa. To encourage sampling, the brand has introduced a votive size for three of its bestsellers—Dark Rum Pistachio, Balsam Fir, and Frosted Cranberry—available individually or as a gift-ready 3-pack. Throughout September, the company is hosting rotating flash sales, culminating in a Votive Sampler promotion on September 26, ahead of the launch of its new collectors' loyalty program.
