Local Talent Powers Psychological Thriller The Things I Didn't Do
A capacity crowd gathered at Regal Winter Park Village on August 8 to witness the debut of The Things I Didn't Do, a psychological thriller series filmed entirely in Central Florida. Created by Thiago Kling, the project marks a milestone for the region’s expanding independent film production scene.

The premiere showcased a decade of development for the series, which was first conceived in 2015. Directed by Fernando Tosetti—a decorated filmmaker with accolades ranging from Campus Movie Fest honors to a 2026 Telly Award—the production relied on a dense network of local crew and creative partners. The script was penned by Julia Antuerpem, whose resume includes writing credits for Netflix and Globo, alongside a portfolio of screenplays recognized by over 60 international awards.
The narrative centers on Ethan, a withdrawn teenager who documents his resentment toward others through disturbing sketches. When his private notebook vanishes and the subjects of his drawings begin dying in ways that mirror his illustrations, he is thrust into a reality-bending mystery. Following the successful pilot screening, Kling Brothers Entertainment is currently seeking opportunities to secure further production and expand the series for a broader audience.
