ASUS Scales AI Infrastructure from Cloud to Industrial Edge
At the ASUS AI Tech 2026 event in Seoul, the company unveiled a massive expansion of its AI infrastructure ecosystem through strategic partnerships with Intel and AMD. By integrating these processors across a broad hardware portfolio, ASUS is positioning itself to handle intensive AI workloads ranging from enterprise data centers to ruggedized industrial environments.

The company’s latest server lineup targets two distinct computing tiers. For high-performance data centers, ASUS introduced systems like the RS700-E12-RS4U and RS720-E12-RS12U, which utilize Intel Xeon 6 processors to manage data-heavy HPC tasks. Simultaneously, the firm is leveraging AMD technology, specifically the EPYC 9006 Series CPUs and Instinct MI350P accelerators, to provide scalable platforms for inference and agentic AI deployments.
Beyond the data center, ASUS is pushing processing capabilities into the field with the new RUC-2000 series embedded computers. These fanless systems, powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, are engineered to withstand the volatile conditions of factory floors and hospitals while delivering up to 180 AI TOPS. By processing data locally, these industrial edge solutions aim to bypass the latency of cloud connectivity while maintaining strict data sovereignty for sensitive healthcare and manufacturing records.
