The spectacle features EngineAI T800 robots, each standing 1.73 meters tall and weighing up to 85 kilograms. These machines are engineered for rapid movement, balance, and combat precision, moving beyond static technology demonstrations into a full-scale entertainment experience. CEO Danny Tang of Hero Esports described the project as a deliberate fusion of sport, gaming culture, and live music, viewing Tokyo Machine’s signature 8-bit chiptune and bass style as the ideal complement to the arena’s atmosphere.

Tokyo Machine, whose tracks have appeared in Rocket League and Beat Saber, brings a resume that includes appearances at Tomorrowland and EDC Las Vegas. For the Riyadh showcase, the production team has scheduled the bouts for 9:00 PM on September 9, creating a thematic alignment of numbers. This event signals a shift for Hero Esports, an organization that manages over 7,000 events annually, as it pivots toward integrating autonomous machinery into its portfolio of gaming and pop culture festivals.
