Patients can book appointments via the CVS Health app or the company’s website, though walk-in service remains an option at most sites. Amy Compton-Phillips, executive vice president and chief medical officer at CVS Health, noted that the initiative aims to simplify preventive care by allowing individuals to receive multiple immunizations—including flu and RSV shots—during a single visit.
MinuteClinic locations are currently accepting patients as young as 18 months, while pharmacy eligibility remains subject to specific state regulations. Most insurance plans cover the updated vaccine at no out-of-pocket cost. For those without coverage, pricing varies based on the specific product and individual eligibility. The company is actively monitoring local health mandates in Arizona, Louisiana, and Oregon, and advises patients to verify specific availability for their area through online scheduling tools before arriving.
