Charlotte-based Component Sourcing International has finalized its acquisition of Milford’s SenSource Global Sourcing, a move designed to consolidate two supply chain management firms. The merger combines CSI’s existing global platform with SenSource’s specialized expertise in producing gears, machined shafts, and multi-process castings. By absorbing the Ohio-based company, CSI gains deeper manufacturing resources and a broader footprint in sectors ranging from medical and dental equipment to automotive and infrastructure. Both companies maintain a focus on hands-on supply chain management, including end-to-end support for logistics, warehousing, and inventory control.

Jay Glasscock, CEO of CSI, noted that the alignment of business values and customer service models drove the decision to unify the two organizations. For current SenSource clients, the transition promises access to expanded manufacturing capabilities without disrupting existing supplier relationships. The companies have initiated a phased integration strategy, prioritizing operational continuity for employees and partners as they begin to share technical expertise and internal best practices. The acquisition falls under the long-term investment strategy of CPC, the parent holding company of CSI.
