Hyperscale Data Claims Asset Value Nears Double Its Market Cap
Hyperscale Data, a Las Vegas-based firm specializing in AI data centers, reported holding approximately $53 million in cash and Bitcoin as of September 3. This total, which accounts for both liquid reserves and digital assets, represents nearly 200% of the company's current equity market capitalization.

Executive Chairman Milton "Todd" Ault III framed the figures as a signal that the market is undervaluing the company's underlying assets. The firm’s holdings comprise roughly $36 million in cash and restricted cash, alongside 215 Bitcoin valued at approximately $18 million. Ault noted that the company recently liquidated a portion of its Bitcoin cache to fund the expansion of a Michigan-based AI data center, a move intended to meet requirements for a long-term master services agreement with a California neocloud provider.
That contract, which covers a 20-megawatt deployment, spans an initial 10-year term with two five-year extension options. Should those options be utilized, the agreement is projected to generate over $1.2 billion in revenue. While the company maintains that its asset-to-market-cap ratio offers meaningful context for investors, it cautioned that the comparison does not account for existing liabilities or specific usage restrictions on cash balances. Hyperscale Data is currently preparing for the 2027 divestiture of its subsidiary, Ault Capital Group, a move that would sharpen the parent company's focus exclusively on high-performance computing and digital asset management.
