JMGO Launches IRIS Projector Series with 4K at 120Hz at IFA 2026
At IFA 2026 in Berlin, JMGO unveiled its IRIS series, the industry's first smart projectors capable of native 4K resolution at a 120Hz refresh rate. By moving beyond traditional 60Hz limitations, the flagship Ultra Max and the IRIS Ultra aim to capture the high-end home theater market with theater-grade brightness and motion clarity.
The new series addresses the growing demand for high-frame-rate content, particularly among gamers and sports enthusiasts. To achieve this, JMGO utilizes a dual-DLPC architecture and a proprietary HyperPulse Actuator that shifts 480 times per second, ensuring full 4K detail remains sharp during fast-motion sequences. The hardware also integrates Dolby Vision support and anti-rainbow artifact technology to enhance viewing comfort.
At the core of the visual performance is the MALC 6.0 Triple-Laser Engine. The flagship Ultra Max boasts 6,500 ISO lumens and a 10,000:1 native contrast ratio, while the Ultra model provides 4,500 ISO lumens and 7,000:1 contrast. Both units feature a 15-blade Dual-Iris system for precise light control. For installation, the devices incorporate an AI-powered gimbal and lens shift capabilities, allowing for flexible positioning without sacrificing image quality through digital keystone correction.
Pre-orders open today, with early-bird pricing set at $2,999 for the Ultra Max and $1,899 for the Ultra, representing a significant discount from their respective MSRPs. Units are scheduled to begin shipping to customers on October 19.
