Visionary Circle Launches to Combat Breast Cancer Financial Hardship

Founded by Riveron executive Kaile Zagger, the group pools expertise from legal, healthcare, and advocacy sectors to scale the reach of Pink Aid. The nonprofit remains the only organization of its kind providing immediate emergency aid within 48 hours to cover essential living expenses like rent and groceries. Since 2015, the organization has distributed over $6 million to more than 9,200 patients, working alongside 1,200 hospital social workers across 400 facilities.

The economic reality facing patients is staggering: collective out-of-pocket expenses for breast cancer treatment in the U.S. total an estimated $3.14 billion each year. While one in three patients faces severe financial strain, that figure jumps to 78% in low- and middle-income communities. By leveraging professional networks and corporate influence, the Visionary Circle intends to heighten awareness of these disparities while cultivating sustainable funding partnerships to ensure treatment remains accessible regardless of a patient's financial status.
