ECOVACS Targets Global Home Robotics Dominance at IFA 2026
ECOVACS has been named the world’s top home robotics brand by Forbes China, marking a shift from simple floor cleaning to a broad service ecosystem. With international revenue now exceeding half of its total earnings, the company is leveraging shared technology stacks to automate window, lawn, and pool maintenance for millions.

At IFA Berlin 2026, the company showcased how it pivots between domestic environments by reusing 80% of its core robotics architecture. This modular strategy allows ECOVACS to scale innovations rapidly, moving from the DEEBOT floor-cleaning series to specialized outdoor tools like the GOAT T-series lawn mowers and the ULTRAMARINE L1 PRO pool cleaner. According to CEO David Qian, the objective is to liberate households from repetitive labor rather than merely increasing the number of gadgets on the market.
Financial data underscores this aggressive international expansion. In the first half of 2026, global service robot shipments surged by 44.1% year-on-year, while revenue from new categories—including window and lawn maintenance—jumped 75.1% in overseas markets. This growth is supported by a significant R&D infrastructure, with 900 engineers and over 3,100 patents driving the development of proprietary navigation and cleaning systems. By the second quarter of 2026, international operations officially became the primary driver of the company’s revenue, accounting for 51% of total sales.
