Midea SpaceMaster Reaches Pizzeria Temperatures for Home Cooks
European home kitchens often struggle to replicate the high-heat environment necessary for authentic pizza, typically capping out at 250°C. Midea’s new SpaceMaster Series Built-in Oven shifts this dynamic, introducing a consumer appliance capable of hitting 350°C, the threshold required for leopard-spotted crusts and rapid cooking cycles.

The oven utilizes an integrated stone hearth designed to mimic traditional brick ovens, allowing the unit to transition dough to a finished pie in less than three minutes. To maintain consistency at these extreme temperatures, the design incorporates a closed impeller fan that delivers four times the airflow velocity of standard models, paired with 28-degree angle vents to ensure even heat distribution across the surface.
Preheating times are minimized through Graphene Turbo Airflow technology, which provides near-instant heat activation. Beyond its specialized pizza capabilities, the unit features an 81-liter capacity across four cooking levels, intended for high-volume meal preparation. The design concludes with a full-glass exterior and a Quiet-Close door system, intended to blend into modern cabinetry without sacrificing the structural requirements of a high-temperature appliance.
