Jassper Shipping Targets India for $50 Million Logistics Expansion
Jassper Shipping is betting on India’s industrial surge, announcing a $50 million investment plan to scale its project logistics and specialized cargo operations over the next three years. The firm aims to leverage the country as a central hub for trade corridors connecting the Middle East, Africa, and Southeast Asia.

The capital deployment begins with a $10 million allocation toward the company's B2B logistics division. Funds are specifically earmarked for high-growth sectors including power, steel, petrochemicals, and heavy engineering. Pushpank Kaushik, CEO of Jassper Shipping for the Subcontinent, Middle East, and Southeast Asia, described the move as a strategic effort to build execution strength within India’s ongoing infrastructure investment cycle.
This expansion arrives as global demand for specialized cargo handling rises alongside trade route restructuring. McKinsey & Company projects the global project logistics market will exceed $400 billion by 2030, with emerging-market corridors like India serving as primary destinations. Local data supports this trend, as India’s major ports processed 915.17 million tonnes of cargo during the 2025–26 fiscal year, marking a 7.06% increase from the previous period. By anchoring its international network in India, Jassper Shipping intends to capture growing demand for port connectivity and inland transport across its operational territories.
