GCCL Expands Clinical Trial Services Across Asia-Pacific
With 650 industry professionals gathering in Singapore for the Asia Bio Partnering Forum 2026, South Korea’s GCCL leveraged its position as a Platinum Sponsor to deepen ties with global drug developers and expand its reach in the clinical trial sample analysis sector across the Asia-Pacific region.

During the three-day event, GCCL executives held extensive discussions with pharmaceutical firms, contract research organizations, and regional stakeholders. These meetings centered on the shifting analytical demands for complex therapeutic modalities, specifically mRNA, nucleic acids, radiopharmaceuticals, and antibody-based therapies. By showcasing its integrated Central, Bioanalytical, and R&D laboratory capabilities, the company aimed to solidify its role in supporting clinical development from early-stage research to final trials.
Yoo-Hwa Choi, Head of Business Operations at GCCL, spearheaded the company’s efforts, which included facilitating collaboration with Singapore-based economic development organizations to better support the local biotech ecosystem. The firm conducted direct partnering sessions with representatives from Korea, China, Japan, Vietnam, and Europe, signaling a push to enhance its service footprint. This outreach follows the company’s recent recognition, having earned the 2025 Frost & Sullivan Best Practices Customer Value Leadership Award for its clinical analysis services.
