These mechanical improvements are supported by AI Stain Detection 2.0 and TruEdge 3.0, which allow the device to adapt its cleaning intensity based on spill severity and reach tighter corners.

ECOVACS is leveraging its extensive patent portfolio—now exceeding 3,100 filings—to maintain its lead in the competitive home robotics sector. Having invested over 5.2 billion RMB in R&D since 2018, the manufacturer is attempting to shift the market standard from simple suction-based cleaning toward integrated, self-maintaining systems that require minimal user intervention.
