Health Carousel Opens Registration for 2026 Nursing Careers Week
Nurses facing the mounting pressures of a complex profession have a new opportunity to chart their professional future. Health Carousel has opened registration for the third annual Nursing Careers Week, a five-day virtual event running November 9–13, 2026, offering global access to development resources, scholarships, and continuing education credits.
The virtual event features three distinct programming tracks: The Empowered Nurse, The Resilient Nurse, and The Global Nurse. These sessions address diverse professional needs ranging from leadership and entrepreneurship to financial wellness and international career pathways. Organizers are introducing a new "Learn and Earn" day, allowing attendees to complete accredited webinars for continuing education credits at their own pace.
Since its inception, the initiative has expanded to reach participants across 45 countries, addressing a persistent void in accessible career development tools for bedside nurses, educators, and students alike. Chief Clinical Officer Earl Dalton noted that the program aims to provide purpose and flexibility beyond standard employment. Participants will be eligible for $5,000 scholarships and daily $250 giveaways throughout the week. The event is supported by a coalition of organizations, including Operation Happy Nurse, which focuses on providing mental health resources for healthcare workers.
