Natural Grocers Launches Organic Month With Nationwide Promotions
Natural Grocers is marking Organic Month throughout September with a series of store-wide promotions, educational initiatives, and a fundraising campaign for the Rodale Institute. The Lakewood-based retailer aims to drive awareness of regenerative agriculture while offering members of its {N}power program exclusive discounts on organic pantry staples.

The retailer’s celebration includes significant price reductions on organic essentials, such as sprouted bread, pasture-raised eggs, and various pasta sauces, available through September 26. A three-day event from September 17 to 19 will feature deeper discounts of up to 50% on select items, alongside giveaways including limited-edition reusable bags and organic mango strips for loyalty program members. Raquel Isely, vice president of marketing, emphasized that the month serves as a platform to highlight ingredient transparency and the company’s strict standards, which prohibit many additives found in conventional food products.
Beyond consumer savings, the company is continuing its biannual partnership with the Rodale Institute to support regenerative organic farming. With a target of $100,000 to be raised by September 30, the fundraiser relies on proceeds from the sale of specific reusable bags and pouches, as well as direct checkout contributions across its 174 locations. Customers can further engage with the initiative through free nutritional classes and recipes featured in the company’s digital publications, reinforcing the brand's focus on the intersection of consumer health and sustainable food systems.
