Ebix Targets Independent U.S. Advisors with New Meridian Platform

Independent financial advisors often juggle disparate systems for CRM, insurance, and document management. Ebix is aiming to consolidate those workflows with the launch of Ebix Meridian, a new operating platform built on the company’s enterprise-grade MoneyWare technology, now tailored for smaller firms with entry pricing at $149 per month.

Built to mirror the capabilities previously reserved for large-scale financial institutions, Ebix Meridian combines client management, financial planning, and private market operations into a single environment. The platform utilizes a unified record system and document vault, aiming to eliminate the friction caused by switching between multiple software providers. A key feature is the integration of Meridian AI, which handles conversational client intake, predictive scoring, and automated document analysis to surface actionable insights for advisors.

Security and data integrity remain central to the offering. The platform is SOC 2 Type II certified, and the company emphasizes that client data is neither shared with third parties nor used for model training. The system offers specialized tools for retirement planning—including a weighted eight-factor readiness score—and handles the full lifecycle of private market investments, from capital calls to tax workflows. Gagan Sethi, CEO of Ebix Technologies, noted that the launch opens a new market segment for the company, with plans to expand the platform’s footprint beyond the United States in future releases.
