Kimberley Gardiner Named Chief Marketing Officer at The Vitamin Shoppe
The Vitamin Shoppe has tapped Kimberley Gardiner to serve as its new Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing and Growth Officer, a move aimed at accelerating the retailer’s digital transformation. Gardiner, a veteran marketing executive, joins the firm effective immediately to oversee brand strategy as it approaches its 50th anniversary.

Reporting directly to CEO Sharon Leite, Gardiner will manage the company's creative direction, e-commerce, loyalty programs, and public relations. Her mandate focuses on leveraging customer data to refine brand relevance and create a more cohesive experience across the company’s 640 physical stores and digital platforms.
Gardiner arrives from Tractor Supply Company, where she served as Chief Marketing Officer since 2022. During her tenure there, she was instrumental in growing the brand's loyalty program to over 40 million members and enhancing omnichannel engagement. Her background includes extensive leadership roles in the automotive sector, including stints as CMO at Volkswagen of America and senior positions at Mitsubishi Motors and Kia Motors. Leite noted that the appointment is timed to help the retailer modernize its consumer engagement strategies as it prepares to enter its fifth decade in business.
