Sébastien Cano Takes the Helm at LumApps

Ricard, who launched the firm a decade ago, will shift his focus toward long-term strategy and governance while Cano assumes control of daily operations. Cano joins the Austin-based headquarters with two decades of experience in the software sector, including executive tenures at Thales and Gemalto. His mandate centers on scaling the company’s Workhub vision and increasing the platform's utility for both desk-bound and frontline workers.

Cano’s arrival follows a period of growth that has seen LumApps attract over 10 million users, counting organizations like Zapier and Genuine Parts Company among its clients. By integrating with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, the platform functions as an AI-driven hub intended to consolidate communication and workflows. As the incoming CEO, Cano intends to prioritize the firm's AI roadmap to further reduce digital friction for global workforces.
