Church Mutual Appoints Ben Parisi to Lead Finance Operations
With over 25 years of industry experience, Ben Parisi has joined Church Mutual Insurance Company as vice president and head of finance operations and FP&A. The newly created role tasks Parisi with overseeing the insurer’s financial planning, procurement, and payroll, reporting directly to Chief Financial Officer Daniel Kim.
Parisi arrives at the Merrill-based company following a two-decade tenure at Zurich North America. During that time, he managed premium collections, cash disbursements, and core financial systems. His career also includes previous roles at Aon Risk Services and the accounting firm Coleman, Epstein, Berlin & Co. LLP.
At Church Mutual, Parisi will focus on evolving the company's financial strategy to bolster decision-making capabilities across the organization. Daniel Kim noted that Parisi’s practical approach to team building and financial modeling will be immediate assets as the firm scales. Parisi, who holds an MBA from DePaul University and is a CPA, will operate out of the company’s Madison office. His appointment reflects a broader push by the 1897-founded insurer to modernize its finance functions while maintaining its focus on religious and nonprofit organizations.
