Bonguard Naturals Settles Nixodine Patent Dispute

A federal patent dispute over Nixodine, an emerging 6-methyl product platform, has concluded with an amicable settlement between Bonguard Naturals and LBC Products. The agreement secures the integrity of the Nixodine intellectual property portfolio while establishing clear, authorized pathways for future industry participants to enter the 6-methyl space.

The resolution involves four specific U.S. patents: 11,964,958; 12,358,888; 12,358,889; and 12,497,381. These assets form the core of a broader protective framework that Bonguard Naturals intends to defend as it scales commercial operations. Ready Mix Naturals, LLC, which holds the portfolio, previously initiated legal action against LBC Products, but the parties ultimately opted for a cooperative resolution rather than prolonged litigation.

Rick Avila, CEO and co-founder of Bonguard Naturals, stated that the settlement sends a signal to the market that intellectual property rights regarding 6-methyl technology will be strictly enforced. He emphasized that while the company prefers constructive dialogue, it remains prepared to take legal action against unauthorized use of its proprietary technology. The agreement effectively creates an authorized ecosystem, signaling that future development in this sector will require formal adherence to Bonguard’s established patent and brand standards.
