The venture will be directed by Richard Moody, formerly the Global Head of Aviation Finance at Hamburg Commercial Bank AG, alongside co-founders Debbie Frew and William Glaister. Their collective history, which includes senior tenures at Deutsche Bank AG and Clifford Chance LLP, aims to secure a competitive edge in a market that demands rapid execution and complex underwriting.

Sean Hinze, who oversees hard asset investing at Neuberger Specialty Finance, noted that the partnership combines specialized structuring capabilities with the firm’s existing global origination network. The platform intends to move beyond simple aircraft financing, targeting transactions across the entire aviation and aerospace ecosystem. For Neuberger, this expansion complements a broader strategy that has already deployed over $16 billion through 80 global origination partners since 2018.
