Related Companies Opens Leasing for The Village at Tuxedo Reserve
Thirty miles from Manhattan, a new 1,200-acre residential project is taking shape in the Hudson Valley. Related Companies has officially launched the first phase of leasing for 336 luxury rental units at The Village at Tuxedo Reserve, a mixed-use development positioned between Harriman and Sterling Forest state parks.

Designed by Aurae, the one and two-bedroom apartments offer a lifestyle package that leans heavily into the surrounding wilderness. Residents gain access to extensive hiking and biking trails, alongside on-site amenities including a resort-style pool, fitness centers, and courts for basketball, squash, tennis, and pickleball. Coworking spaces and dog parks round out the residential facilities.
Greg Gushee, Executive Vice President at Related Companies, described the project as an attempt to curate an elevated experience for those seeking nature without sacrificing proximity to modern conveniences. The development is anchored by Market Square, which serves as a central hub for seasonal events, a farmers' market, and a community skating rink. The project’s commercial district is currently assembling a "Founders Circle" of inaugural tenants, ranging from specialty food concepts to wellness providers.
First move-ins are scheduled for October, with retail, dining, and additional community offerings expected to roll out through the winter and spring. The developer has opened a leasing office at 5 Bridle Trail Road for prospective tenants to review floor plans and community layouts.
