Amgen Standardizes Global Commercial Operations on Veeva Vault CRM
Amgen is moving its global commercial infrastructure to Veeva Vault CRM, extending a decade-long partnership between the pharmaceutical giant and the cloud provider. The transition aims to expedite the delivery of new therapies to patients by leveraging automated, agentic technologies to streamline complex healthcare professional engagements.

The deployment of Vault CRM serves as the core foundation for Amgen’s commercial strategy, replacing legacy systems with a platform designed to identify treatment barriers and improve clinical outcomes. By integrating the Agentic Call Report, the company expects to generate more precise commercial evidence across its global markets.
Scott Skellenger, Amgen's senior vice president and chief information officer, noted that the platform will provide the necessary agility to accelerate the launch of new treatments. For Veeva, the agreement underscores the adoption of its Vault CRM Suite, which is increasingly being positioned as the standard for life sciences companies managing large-scale pharmaceutical portfolios.
