This partnership aims to eliminate the administrative friction that often stalls transfer students. By mapping course equivalencies directly with NYU faculty, Campus ensures that credits earned during a student's first two years are recognized, preventing the credit loss that frequently plagues the transfer process. According to the U.S. Government Accountability Office, students often lose nearly half of their credits when moving between institutions, a hurdle that frequently prevents timely degree completion.

Angie Kamath, dean of the NYU School of Professional Studies, noted that the collaboration transforms a historically high-risk transition into a predictable route toward an NYU degree. For Campus founder Tade Oyerinde, the move represents a necessary correction in higher education, where credit evaporation remains a primary barrier to graduation. The agreement expands a network that already includes institutions such as Arizona State University, Tulane University, and the University of Central Florida, solidifying the college’s model of using live, remote instruction to prepare students for top-tier research universities.
