Century Complete Launches Shockley Bend Development in South Carolina
Century Complete, a subsidiary of national builder Century Communities, has opened sales at Shockley Bend, a new residential community in Anderson, South Carolina. The project introduces three two-story floor plans to the Upstate market, with entry-level pricing beginning in the mid $200,000 range for new single-family homes.
The development at 127 Moore Street features homes ranging from 1,566 to 1,965 square feet, offering configurations of three to four bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. Each residence includes a standard package of finishes, notably Lyra Quartz countertops by Cosentino, LG stainless-steel appliances, and Shaw luxury vinyl plank flooring, alongside smart-home components such as Igloo electronic door locks.
Regional President Cliff Niederpruem characterized the project as a strategic move to provide attainable housing options in a high-demand area. The community is positioned for proximity to Lake Hartwell and offers transit access to larger hubs, including Greenville, Clemson, and Atlanta. Beyond physical construction, the builder is integrating its proprietary online sales platform at the site, allowing buyers to secure property through a digital "Buy Now" process. While virtual transactions are supported, the company maintains a physical Sales Studio on Woodruff Road in Greenville to provide local support for prospective residents.
