Fulcrum Integrates AI Toolkit to Automate Complex Field Workflows
San Francisco-based Fulcrum has launched an MCP server and AI Toolkit, allowing field teams to generate sophisticated digital workflows from simple descriptions. By enabling workers to bypass traditional coding bottlenecks, the platform aims to replace disjointed mobile apps and paper-based processes with integrated, end-to-end operational systems.
The new tools, currently available through the Fulcrum Labs early-release program, address a persistent industry challenge: complex processes that remain unfinished due to development delays or limited technical resources. By leveraging the platform's existing infrastructure—including GIS integration, offline synchronization, and administrative audit trails—users can now deploy structured, enterprise-grade workflows without manual configuration.
Chief Product Officer Mike Lambert noted that the system allows field experts to focus on process design while the platform manages technical requirements like data integrity and security. Early adopters such as the engineering firm Fraser-Lever report that the toolkit’s flexible architecture and API support allow for faster turnaround times and improved data accuracy in resource-sector projects. CEO Jim Grady emphasized that the move is designed to help utilities modernize their operations by eliminating the fragmented software patches that currently hinder productivity and trust.
