Laaksonen, a family-led business based in Hausjärvi, brings a deep track record of managing large-scale infrastructure for national heritage institutions. The firm has previously delivered massive shelving projects, including 131,000 linear meters for the National Depot Library of Finland and 70 kilometers for the National Library of Estonia. By integrating these local relationships with Bruynzeel’s international manufacturing capacity, the companies plan to scale their presence in the Baltic and Finnish sectors.

Eelco Ockers, CEO of Bruynzeel, emphasized that the collaboration addresses the rising international need for sustainable and secure collection management. Second-generation leaders Petteri and Raisa Laaksonen will continue to manage regional operations, shifting their focus toward expanding the combined product portfolio. This move follows a period of strong international revenue growth for the Netherlands-based Bruynzeel, which operates worldwide with a client list including the Louvre and the Victoria and Albert Museum.
