BMI Imaging Systems Backs 10th Annual Shoot for the Troops Tournament

The Nashville chapter of the Joshua Chamberlain Society, a nonprofit established in 2013, currently aids 13 local families through its 'Adopt a Hero' program. All proceeds from the tournament, which included a silent auction and awards ceremony, go directly to these long-term beneficiaries. The top shooter of the competition received an engraved KA-BAR combat knife and saw their name added to the event’s memorial trophy.

For Will Whitney, the sponsorship represents more than a corporate initiative. Having served in the Marines, Whitney noted that the society’s commitment to providing lifelong assistance to veterans resonates deeply. BMI Imaging Systems, based in Sunnyvale, California, has supported the tournament for three consecutive years as part of its ongoing philanthropic efforts. The company, founded in 1958, specializes in digitizing analog records and managing secure data collections for public and private organizations.
