Lyntris to Supply Antenna Feed Systems for Intuitive Machines Network
Intuitive Machines has selected Lyntris to provide tri-band antenna feed systems for its global ground network. The hardware, capable of handling S-, X-, and Ka-band frequencies through a single aperture, will support the infrastructure provider's efforts to maintain continuous communications with lunar and deep-space missions.
The integration of Lyntris technology allows Intuitive Machines to consolidate multiple communication bands into a single large-aperture system. This design maintains the signal gain and noise isolation necessary for deep-space connectivity while enabling the network to scale its capacity for data transport, navigation, and positioning services.
Richie Dart, SVP and GM of C5 ISR at Lyntris, noted that the transition from individual space missions to standing infrastructure requires high reliability for every transmission pass. Lyntris plans to utilize its vertically integrated manufacturing process to supply the feed systems as Intuitive Machines expands its array of ground stations worldwide.
