Nima Darouian Joins Crowell & Moring’s Los Angeles Practice
Employment litigator Nima Darouian has joined Crowell & Moring as a partner in Los Angeles, bolstering the firm’s Labor & Employment Group. With over 15 years of experience, he brings a specialized focus on wage and hour class actions and representative matters under California’s Private Attorneys General Act.

Darouian arrives from Ballard Spahr, where he managed complex employment litigation, including cases involving workforces of up to 25,000 employees. His practice spans high-stakes class actions and single-plaintiff disputes, alongside advising Fortune 500 companies and startups on risk management, worker classification, and compensation structures.
Trina Fairley Barlow, co-chair of the firm's Labor & Employment Group, noted that Darouian’s background in California’s challenging regulatory environment will strengthen the firm's national capabilities. Co-chair Kris Meade added that Darouian’s expertise complements the existing team’s work on novel wage and hour litigation. A graduate of Loyola Law School, Darouian is bilingual in English and Farsi.
