Edelson Lechtzin Probes Edenred Pay Breach Over Stolen Social Security Data

A national class action firm is investigating GlobalvCard LLC, operating as Edenred Pay, following a data breach that exposed the names, mailing addresses, and Social Security numbers of its customers. The Bonita Springs-based payment processor disclosed the security failure to Massachusetts regulators on September 15, 2026, without revealing the incident timeline.

The law firm Edelson Lechtzin LLP is now offering free case evaluations to those impacted by the compromise of sensitive personal information. While the company has confirmed the breach, it has yet to disclose when the unauthorized access occurred, when it was discovered, or how long the systems were left vulnerable before the company determined personal data was at risk. In response, Edenred Pay claims to have secured its environment by revoking compromised credentials and installing enhanced monitoring tools.

Because Social Security numbers were among the compromised data, victims face a heightened risk of identity theft and targeted fraud. Attorneys are currently reviewing potential legal claims against the subsidiary of the Edenred Group. Affected individuals are advised to preserve their notification letters, enroll in the offered Cyberscout monitoring services within the 90-day window, and place security freezes on their credit files to mitigate the risk of account exploitation.
