CIPRA.ai and Murata Partner to Develop AI-Driven Health Wearables
San Diego-based CIPRA.ai is joining forces with global electronics giant Murata to engineer a new generation of medical wearables. By merging Murata’s high-precision sensor technology with CIPRA.ai’s digital twin platform, the partnership seeks to transition chronic disease management from reactive treatment toward predictive, personalized intervention.
The collaboration targets the integration of real-time physiological data into adaptive AI models that evolve alongside individual patient profiles. This approach aims to move beyond the static tracking found in standard consumer devices, offering health systems a mechanism to reduce avoidable hospitalizations and lower the total cost of care.
Sujit Dey, founder of CIPRA.ai, noted that the initiative focuses on earlier intervention to improve patient outcomes, particularly in underserved rural health environments. Mehul Udani, Vice President of Corporate Technology and Innovation at Murata, emphasized that the project intends to convert raw sensor data into actionable clinical insights. As the healthcare industry shifts toward value-based models, this partnership represents a significant push to standardize continuous, intelligence-driven monitoring for chronic conditions.
