QinFlow Debuts PressSure Device to Automate Fluid Infusion Pressure
Clinicians in high-acuity environments frequently lose focus to the manual, repetitive task of inflating and monitoring traditional pressure bags. Plano-based QinFlow is attempting to solve this with the launch of PressSure, a battery-powered device designed to maintain infusion pressure automatically across military, hospital, and emergency medical settings.
The device integrates into existing workflows by connecting directly to standard pressure bags. Once a clinician selects a pressure level—150, 300, or 450 mmHg—the system manages the delivery, eliminating the need for constant manual intervention. According to CEO Ariel Katz, the technology serves as a natural extension of the company’s Warrior warming platforms, aimed at reducing equipment-related demands during critical care.
COL. (Ret.) John Holcomb, MD, chairman of the board at QinFlow, noted that even minor, recurring tasks consume valuable cognitive resources under the fatigue and complexity of emergency medicine. By automating pressure management, the company intends to free providers to prioritize patient physiologic needs over mechanical oversight. PressSure requires no proprietary consumables or scheduled calibration, further streamlining usage in field and hospital environments.
Industry recognition has arrived alongside the product launch, with PressSure named a finalist for the 2026 EMS World Innovation Award. The device will be showcased later this month at the EMS World Expo and the Emergency Nursing 2026 conference.
