Hyundai Renews Partnership with Atlanta Braves Through 2029

The decade-long collaboration between Hyundai and the Atlanta Braves will continue for at least another four seasons, extending a corporate sponsorship that began in 2014. The deal reinforces the automaker's deep ties to Georgia, where the company is currently scaling its massive $7.59 billion Metaplant facility near Savannah.

Under the terms of the renewal, Hyundai maintains high-visibility branding throughout Truist Park, including outfield wall placements and prominent signage behind the visitors’ dugout. Beyond static advertising, the automotive brand will continue its role as the presenting sponsor for the Braves Radio Network, which broadcasts to 170 markets, and the team's 'Alumni Sunday' events held at the Georgia Power Pavilion.

Corporate social responsibility remains a central pillar of the agreement. Since 2019, the partnership has facilitated a program with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, allowing pediatric patients to throw ceremonial first pitches. This effort aligns with the $7.2 million the automaker has contributed to pediatric cancer research in the region since 2005. Sean Gilpin, chief marketing officer at Hyundai Motor America, noted that the relationship carries extra weight due to the company's expanding workforce at the Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America, a site projected to support 8,500 direct jobs at full capacity. For the Braves, the extension provides stability with a partner that Jim Allen, the team's senior vice president of corporate partnerships, describes as a reflection of the organization’s own focus on long-term performance.
