Campbell Genn Joins Greenberg Traurig’s Washington Policy Practice
Campbell Genn, a former senior advisor at the U.S. Department of Agriculture, has joined Greenberg Traurig’s Washington, D.C., office as a Senior Director. She arrives at the firm to bolster its Government Law & Policy practice, bringing extensive experience in federal food, nutrition, and agricultural trade regulation.
Genn previously served as a key counselor to USDA Cabinet leadership, focusing on supply-chain resilience and national nutrition policy. Her background includes high-level advocacy roles at the American Bakers Association and the Sugar Association. This experience provides her with a technical understanding of the federal legislative process and regulatory bodies, including the Food and Drug Administration.
At Greenberg Traurig, she will assist clients in navigating complex policy areas such as the Farm Bill, SNAP and WIC programs, and emerging labeling requirements for ultra-processed foods. Christopher DeLacy, co-chair of the firm's Federal Government Law & Policy Practice, noted that her addition strengthens the firm's ability to bridge the gap between regulatory proposals and industry reality. While Genn is not an attorney, the firm expects her policy expertise to provide clients with strategic guidance on science-based food and nutrition legislation. The move aligns with the firm's broader expansion of its Washington-based regulatory and government affairs teams.
