Since launching in 2019, French Bloom has challenged the traditional boundaries of the non-alcoholic category by prioritizing winemaking expertise over simple extraction. By utilizing organic base wines crafted in the high-altitude vineyards of Limoux and investing heavily in research and development, the maison has successfully moved beyond mere alternatives to create products defined by vintage, terroir, and complexity. This approach has secured the brand a presence in over 70 countries, including placements in Michelin-starred restaurants and partnerships with major cultural entities like Formula 1 and Air France.

The nomination reflects a broader trend of prestige brands embracing the "flexi-drinker" lifestyle. Frerejean-Taittinger noted that the goal was never to replicate alcohol, but to create a sophisticated beverage that stands on its own merits. This philosophy is most evident in the maison's premium cuvées, such as the oak-aged La Cuvée Vintage and the zero-dosage L'Extra Brut. These wines have earned critical acclaim, including three consecutive wins for World's Best Alcohol-Free Sparkling wine at the World's Best Sparkling Wine Awards. Following a strategic minority stake acquisition by Moët Hennessy in 2024, the brand continues to scale its footprint in luxury hospitality, from Soho House locations to the Delta One Lounge at JFK.
